goodbye...FOREVER

....i think. I've decided to say goodbye to the blogging world. I might be back if I start to miss it, but I've pretty much had it with Blogger. It is SO slow. It takes like 15 minutes to load anyone else page so I can't even see what everyone else is up to. Then when I try to go to another website from Blogger it takes so long that I just close the screen and open up a new one. Plus it's too hard to keep up on my blog and Facebook in the 15 minute break I have at work. So if you want to see what we're up to check us out on Facebook, give us a call, or come visit us!! Elle Bell is 7 Months & Happy Anniversary To Us!!

little boo bear is 7 months and i can hardly believe it!! she's jabbering a lot, including screaming and growling, gives fives, smacks her lips, claps, and we're working on waving! she is so much fun and still such a good baby i can't believe how lucky i am!!

december 1 was our 3rd anniversary and jon surprised me with a trip to park city the weekend before. it was such a blast. we left elle with jon's parents so we just got to relax and have fun!! we slept until 1030!! then we did some shopping and ate tons of delicious food!

6 months

I don't know if you can really tell in this picture but for Elle's 6 month birthday she got her ears pierced!!! I love it! She looks like such a girly girl now!! Jon was not too happy about it but I think deep down inside he thinks she looks even cuter than she did before! :)

Our little Elle Bell is getting so big!! I can't believe how much she's grown and changed so quickly! She sits up and plays with toys and keeps herself entertained pretty well. She can roll like a champ. She laughs and smiles all the time, she's such a happy baby! She says "dadada" all day long. She loves other babies and kids & gets so excited when she sees them. When she meets adults she just stares at them and won't smile though!! She is SO much fun and such a blessing to have in our family!!! WE LOVE YOU BOO BEAR!!!

Elle and Maya are both bumble bees!!! They're both so dang cute.. mostly Elle! We went to the Halloween party at Petsmart last night.. it was HILARIOUS!! People get pretty creative with their dogs... There was Pocahontas, Little Red Riding Hood, a farmer, a fairy, a hula dog (complete with a coconut bra!) and Batman and Robin!! Too funny :)

holla to wireless internet

Jon's parents have wireless internet so now it's my goal to blog everytime i'm up here... we'll see how that goes.. Here's a little bit of what we've been up to:

and I pushed Elle in the stroller so it was her first 5K as well!!


That's about it really... Everything is just the usual!! We're just watching Elle grow like a little weed!! She's gonna be 5 months on Sunday! We love her more than anything!!

Basically I live in a cave...

So I know that I suck at keeping up with this thing ever since I quit working at Wolford's where I sat in front of a computer all day and blogs were my life. I've been even worse since becoming a mommy, can't really complain about that though. I love being a mommy!

So I don't have the internet, accept for on rare occassions when Jon brings his work computer in from his patrol car and when I'm at work. But when I'm at work I actually have work to keep me busy the whole time I'm there and then I go home.

I also don't have TV. We used to have Dish, then we became poor and cancelled it to pay more important bills. Then we had nothing for like 2 years. This summer we got all excited about the whole Digital Cable thing because we thought we would at least get a few channels like 2,4,5,13,14. Those have plenty of good things to watch. Well we got the converter and we got an antenna and now we get......CHANNEL 8. THAT'S IT.

One thing I do have is a cell phone. Other than that, I LIVE IN A CAVE. The only people I see are Elle, Maya, sometimes Jon, and sometimes my family.

So anyway that's my life. And those are my excuses for not keeping up on my blog. The only one that really applies is the internet, I just thought I'd throw the other things in there. So when I do have the internet, it's a TOTAL pain in the butt to load pictures because nowhere and I mean NOWHERE in the world has a faster internet than Wolford Collision Repair. I really miss that place. So I have to resize all my pictures so they're small enough that they'll upload in a timely manner. So here's a quick update sans pictures (until a later date):

Jon put in his two weeks at lowes and is going to do security at the coyote farm so he can be come in the evenings with us. He also has a new assignment so he gets to work days and have weekends off for the next two years WOO HOO!!

I'm still working part time

I'm doing Weight Watchers and I've lost 14 pounds (on top of the baby weight) GO ME!

Jon's parents and my brother both just bought new houses.

I want a new house

That's about it!!

Elle's Blessing Day

We blessed Elle on July 5th. Everything worked out really well considering how stressful it was to get ready for!! Jon gave an awesome blessing and we had tons of family and friends there to support us! Thanks to everyone for coming and for helping out with food and everything!!!

Elle would NOT smile... I'll have to put her back in her dress and try again sometime!!

4th of July

Friday we went over to Bear Lake. Mostly just for the drive.. my brothers and dad went for a motorcycle ride so we followed them over there and had lunch at LeBeau's and then came back!

Saturday I ran around all day getting ready for Elle's blessing. We also went to the parade in Hyrum and the Cruise-In!! We love 4th of July weekend :)

Meeting Great Grandma JoAnne!!

Jon's grandma came to visit from California for a couple weeks!

It was so good to see her again!

After grandma's visit, we headed to Las Vegas with Jon's whole family. She rode down with us and then Jon's aunt took Grandma back to California with her.

We started things off right with dinner at Cheescake Factory! mmm

Our first night in Vegas we stayed at Treasure Island. This is the king size bed (awesome!) with little elle hiding in the middle of it!

The next day we could check into the house we rented... it was SO awesome. There were enough rooms and bathrooms for each little family to have their own space, a pool with a waterfall and shallow end for the kids, sunken bar you could swim up to with a grill, fridge etc, basketball court, batting cage, fire pit, ping pong, pool table, and pretty much anything else you could ever want!!!

To the left you can see the sunken bar you could swim right up to. There's the waterfall we jumped off, pictures below. And at the back of the yard is the basketball court and batting cages. Pretty freakin' sweet set up!! We had a blast there!

We had the most amazing WEEK in Vegas! It was SO hot and we loved every minute of it! Being in the pool all day you didn't even notice the heat. We went down to the strip a couple nights and Jon did some gambling (he won $30 woooow!) But mostly we just hung out in the pool (which was so nice to have to ourselves!) and at a lot of food!! Thanks Jack and Pam for everything - we couldn't have had more fun!!!
