Last time this happened to me I cried for like 4 hours... this time i laughed for like 15 minutes straight.
Date: Christmas 2006 Location: The Buckle, Cache Valley Mall Me & Jon had just gotten married like 2 or 3 weeks earlier & I was at the mall shopping for his Christmas presents. The BIOTCH at the Buckle asked me if I was shopping for my husband. I said yes. Then she asked me if I was having a baby. I told her I was just fat. She back-peddled and mumbled something like "oh no you're totally not, i'm just an inconsiderate bitty..." SOMETHING like that. Then I went out to my car & cried & didn't eat for the rest of the day.
Date: Halloween 2008 Location: Wolford Collision Repair One of our parts delivery guys asked me, "Have you been eating too many hamburgers, or is something else changing your body?" In his funny little accent. I had to laugh. I'd never heard anyone put it that way! And this time I proudly got to answer, "THERE'S A BABY IN THERE!!!!!" WoOoOo HoOoO!!!
so i just found this letter i wrote to jon a couple months ago & i thought it went right along with my last post! please try to understand, it was 2 am... after a long hard day.
dear jonny hubby baby,
i'm sorry i didn't fold the laundry in a timely manner. i knew i should do it, but i didn't want to do it, so i procrastinated. but the later it got (7:30,8:00,8:30), i got more and more tired & my desire to fold laundry got less & less. i finally CRASHED at 9pm, hoping i might wake up before you got home so i could fold the dreaded laundry.
at approximately 1:32am you arrived home after work & proceeded to lay a guilt trip on me-which included maya's present for us on the dining room floor-(i thought she was asleep too!)
so please accept my apology. as a bonus to go along with that "sorry", i have officially rendered my top "undie" drawer to your miscellaneous work items & whatever else it is you collect in that same area. you now have reign over 7 1/2 drawers, including one entirely dedicated to socks & one entirely dedicated to the aforementioned work items.
just for the record, i have ALL of my un-hangable clothes CRAMMED into 3 1/2 drawers. oh the sacrifices to keep my man satisfied. but what my baby wants, my baby gets.
again, please accept my apology & my undying love & devotion to you. i will continually strive to be a better wife from this point forward.

if it wasn't obvious, i DID wake up & fold the laundry AND put it way. but i'm pretty sure jon has done the laundry every time since then.
How long have you been married? Two years in December!
How long did you date? A littleover a year. Then we were engaged for 4 months. So about a year & half before we got married. Yeah I'm really good at math. Thanks.

Who eats more sweets? Probably me, but I don't know anyone that loves chocolate more than Jon!
Who said "I love you" first? Jon. For the longest time when wesaid goodbye, we would say " I lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllike you!" haha Honestly I don't remember the first time we said the real thing though. But I do know that I wouldn't have said it first - I made him!
Who is taller? Jon, not by much though. I'm stuck with flats for the rest of my life!
Who can sing the best? Probably Jon, when he's singing for real. He likes to sing like a gay sometimes though & I HATE it!!
Who is smarter? Um... Jon. I can be smart if I try, but I really have to try. Jon knows everything.
Who pays the bills? I do. Jon used to. Then when he was finishing the police academy, he just straight up quit because he was so busy. So I took over.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. Well I guess it depends how you look at it. When I'm laying on my back I'm on the right side. Closer to the potty!
Who mows the lawn? Jon. He loves it! I really wouldn't mind doing it - especially since our yard is the size of a postage stamp - but Jon just loves working in the yard, so I wouldn't wanna take that away from him!
Who cooks dinner? Honestly neither of us. We're never home at the same time. Jon usually drives through somewhere if he has time. I either eat cereal or ramen noodles (I seriously love them more than ever since I've been pregnant!)
Who drives? Mostly Jon. Something about a chick driving the truck while he's in the passenger seat makes him feel like a wuss. whatever.
Who kissed who first? Jon put the moves on me on our 3rd date! I was so nervous for some reason but as soon as we locked lips, it was definitely good & I just went with it! haha
Who asked who out first? Jon (always a gentleman) waited for me to graduate from high school and about a week after graduation he called & asked me out! I remember like skipping around the house I was so excited!!
Who wears the pants? We both kinda do. I don't know if that's possible. Jon hates being told what to do, but after I whine and moan and cry, he usually does what I ask. But he also does a lot of things without me asking so that's awesome!! As for ME... like I said, after I cry and moan and whine, I usually get my way!
LOVE YOU BABY!!! Seriously no one in the world makes me laugh more than Jon. We have so much fun. I can't wait to see him in action as a daddy-o! I know he'll do an awesome job because he is so cute with his nieces and nephews! He is such a good example to me in so many ways too. I wish I could be as hard-working, dedicated, honest, and nice as him!!! He's amazing!
...I love him already!! We got a new little nephew on Friday 10/24/2008!! He is so so so cute & I even got to hold the little peanut on Sunday when they came home from the hospital!!
We were planning on 11:30 & it ended up being more like 12:30 by the time they got home, so we had to find a few things to keep the little ones busy...

and I just loved his little ears and cute hair!! i can't wait for my little person to arrive!!! I'm getting so impatient.. already!! I still have like 6 months to go... I should really learn some patience. I just wish I could paint, carpet, and decorate the nursery, shop for cloths & blankies & EVERYTHING else that just has to be a certain color. But I AM officially into my 2nd trimester!! WOO HOO!!!

8 things I did yesterday....... Work, grocery shopping (Jon even came! yay!!), ate a gross lunch, took Maya to get groomed, made cookies for a Terra (I totally spaced taking her dinner last week...I'm SO sorry again!!!), washed the dishes, made another batch of cookies especially for my hubby baby (chocolate w/ chocolate chunk... sick i know but he loves chocolate!!), then i hit the sack.

well once again, i'm sick of looking at my old post... but we haven't done anything exciting to write about!! so here goes with what we HAVE done...
last week, jon made dinner 2 nights in a row!! it was SOOO good, i don't know why he doesn't do it more often. i'm completely retarded when it comes to cooking & i HAAATE cleaning up so i pretty much DO NOT cook. it was nice to come home to his cute face in front of the hot stove!! we are really formal at our house, we eat in front of the TV... i haven't taken a picture of myself or at least posted any with me in them lately because i feel like i'm having a "total body pregnancy" & i hate the way i look. every inch of me. so please don't judge... ewww! oh yeah, i forgot to mention that i had golf balls implanted in my cheeks. cute huh? ughh.. but aren't we just a happy lovey couple!!
so seriously those are the only pictures i've taken in like the past 3 weeks... i did go to Roosevelt with jon's parents a couple weeks ago. jon's sister holly & fam just moved to utah from cali!! YAY for them being closer!! bummer for us no longer having a place to stay close to the beach!! I took a couple pictures & videos there but i'm out of time for now.. maybe i'll do it later because i have the cutest neices EVER!!!
everything is going good with the pregnancy. i'm almost 13 weeks & my next doctor appointment is on tuesday! i've been feeling a lot better, not getting queasy as often, but i'm still WAAAY tired. but things are great!!
so when i announced to my extended family that i was pregnant, a few of them asked, "what are you gonna blog about now??" at the time i was like "what are you talking about? i'm pregnant, i'll talk about THAT!!" i guess i really did talk about wanting a baby a lot & now that i'm pregnant for some reason i have nothing to write about. i could talk anyone's ear off about baby stuff but it's not really stuff i want to tell the www about... does that make sense?
anyway... everything is going good so far. i have been feeling good besides being tired all the time. but i haven't felt sick as often. and i really haven't even been that sick, i'm just a complainer. i think i've been really lucky as far as that goes. and we got a stroller/carseat combo that is DARLING!! it's perfect for a boy or a girl so we can use it for future babies too! i'm so excited ~ i love it!so that's really all that i have to say about pregnancy... except that i can't WAIT til December 2!! that's when we find out whether we'll paint pink or.... whatever jon decides. i told him if it's a boy he gets to decorate the room because i'm clueless. but i have to approve it of course! jon will do great though!!
SO... one last item of business... no pun intended... i've decided to start looking NOW for someone to take my place at Wolford's. the plan was originally to just kinda keep my eye out for someone i knew & trusted to take my place AFTER i have the baby. but since i'm working part time at the Sheriff's Office also, it's just too much work for a tired, pregnant, complainer like me!! PLUS me & jon want to be able to spend as much time together before this babe shows up!!! & when i work all day and then go to work in the evenings and jon works all night while i'm sleeping... we pretty much don't see each other & it's just no fun!!! So if anyone is interested or knows someone who might be interested PLEASE let me know!! It's Monday-Friday 8-5 with 1 hour for lunch. This is seriously the BeSt job i have ever had!!! They are the best guys to work with. They're hilarious & laid back & fun. They pretty much let me do whatever i want :) & let's face it - they AREN'T girls!! so it's awesome & i'm really going to miss everyone but i think it will be for the best... Let me know!!!
