our CRAAAZY weekend!!!

WARNING: LONG POST & TONS OF PICTURES!!!

This weekend was a busy busy fun one!! Friday I got my hair done - the bangs are back!! We'll see how long that lasts but... anyway then we had a bachelorette party for my friend Emily!! It was SO much fun! We went to dinner at Black Pearl - yum! Then went to Persian Peacock to get her all hooked up for the big night!! After that we headed to my house to have some margaritas & cupcakes!!


And of course we took about 5 thousand pictures of ourselves!!

After the party died down a little HAHA I drove up to meet Jon, Justin & Andrea & their neighbors Shawn & Wendy. They were camping up by Mink Creek at a sweet little place called Maple Grove. There's hot springs up there that are amazing, so we soaked for a little bit then headed to bed. They had obviously already been up there for a little bit & had tin foil dinners & smores. So then we got up the next morning & drove home so I could get ready & head down to Salt Lake.


Emily got married in the Salt Lake Temple & she was the most beautiful bride of the day by FAR!!! I loved her hair & dress SO much!!





So we stuck around for a few pictures & then went to Gateway & had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen - YUM! Then we went to a few stores & we were all worn out (I think it musta been the heat!) so we headed home! While I was in SLC Jon went to the Parade of Homes with his parents!! I'm sad I had to miss out on that!


When I got home I changed my clothes & we went out to a BBQ at the Roundy's. There were a bunch of us out there & it's always so fun to see everyone & just hang out & chat!! Maya found a friend too!! Those two just ran & ran & ran around & chased each other. It was good for Maya cuz she never gets to run! & it was nice for us cuz we didn't really have to watch her! haha so that's our marathon weekend!! It was SO much fun & I LOVE SUMMER!!!

so my camera is broken & i haven't been able to take any new pictures but i wanted to post SOMETHING cuz i'm bored out of my mind at work. so i found a few cute pictures of my little maya!! she's loving the warm weather & LOVES to stick her head out the window when we're driving in the truck. she either stands right on the edge of my knee & gets her head out as far as she possibly can or she sticks her head down against the door. who knows why but i think it's hilarious!!



this shows my good mother skills ... i probably shouldn't be taking a picture while i'm driving but i couldn't help it. i'll probably be one of those moms who turns around to take a picture of my baby asleep in the car seat... haha


when we get home & let maya out of her kennel she immediately plops down on the grass. i'm sure it gets a little toasty on that gravel plus she likes to eat grass & then throw it up. it's great.


this is another thing i can see myself doing as a mother someday... playing tricks on my kids while they sleep. me & jon HATE those stupid bluetooth things that people wear around even when they're not driving & we wanna kick their teeth in cuz they look like idiots... anyway we gave maya a bluetooth with her nylabone. haha

i love how maya holds stuff with her paws so she can chew on it. she wraps her paws around your arm & tries to eat your fingers. that's a game i let jon play with her. i'm not really into getting bit by a dog even though she's just play biting. i mostly just let her follow me around & then when she gets sleepy at night i grab her & we cuddle. that's basically what our relationship consists of. she's such a little sweetheart!!



another example of our bad parenting skills, we feed maya human food!! anytime we eat, she jumps up & down & whines until we give her a little piece. we DO make her do a trick for it usually though!! sorry to those of you who hate dogs, or animals in general cuz i used to be one of you!! but i hope the rest of you enjoyed my pics - you can't tell me she's not cute!!!

I'm a perfectionist in some parts of my life & a slob in other parts!! I like to do everything a certain way & when someone else does it wrong it really pisses me off. haha. but I could sit & stare at a pile of laundry & not wash it for like 2 weeks. Same with clean laundry - I hate folding it. It just sits in a laundry basket forever. Then Jon gets sick of it & folds it & I don't like the way he folds it so I redo it. I'm a little OCD. or just retarded, i'm not sure...

I will most likely work at Wolford Collision Repair for the rest of my life. I just freakin love this job & I've never liked any other job I've ever had. They treat me good & are really flexible. I pretty much do whatever I want! haha I hope Tim never reads that...

Moonlight Sidewalk Chalk

So Friday night I hung out with my best fwend Makell!! We went to dinner at Chili's & then hung out at her apartment for a little bit. LACY ANN BROBERG WAS THERE TOO!!! I LOVE HER!! Then she went to some LAME party that I'm pretty sure married people weren't invited to, so I went home! But while I was at Makell's like 5 random dudes walked into their apartment (ahh the joys of campus living...) & gave us some sidewalk chalk! So I took my piece of chalk home & doodled all over the driveway while I waited for Jon to come home!! Well my stick of chalk ran out WELL before my husband got home but it was fun anyway! By the way I think Jon has gotten off at 10 ONCE since he's been on patrol. Every other night it's been 11, midnight, 1, 2, etc. It SUCKS!!! oh well, as you can see, I still love him!

I won Bunco AGAIN!!!

That's right - 2 months in row!! I won a beach umbrella, a pink beach towel & a pool pass!!! Wahoo!!

our softball game got cancelled last night thanks to the stupid rain! so here are the pictures i promised from our 2nd game!

here's jon trying to slide into home after he played pickle with the 3rd baseman & the catcher. he didn't so much slide as he did belly flop on the ground. as you can see, he's still a good foot from the base!! oh well, good try honey! & thanks for the entertainment!

i look like an idiot in ALL the pictures because all i do is stand in right field & then bat like a retard so i decided to put the outfield pictures on. they were slightly less embarrassing than the batting pictures!! enjoy!

I HATE MONDAYS...

So we had a WAY fun weekend & I SO didn't want to come back to work today!!!




I got free concert tickets from work so Friday me & the folks went down to check out Shooter Jennings, 38 Special, & Charlie Daniels Band. We left about noon & when we got down to SLC we ate at Cheesecake Factory (mmmm!!) & did some shopping then headed out to the USANA Ampitheatre - I love that place! I've been to some KILLER concerts there & I just love being outside & there isn't a bad seat in the place! Anyway, the concert itself wasn't anything I'd EVER pay money to see (38 Special was AWESOME though!) but the other attendees were definitely entertaining!!!

My camera doesn't have much of a zoom but this is Shooter Jennings. I actually kinda liked him too. He has a cool raspy voice! but he looks like he stinks... Also this video pretty much sums up the kind of people that were there. We laughed our butts off at people all night long! It was awesome. PS TURN THE SOUND DOWN ON THE VIDEO!!!

So we got home about 1:30am & got up at 6 am to get ready for our yard sale!! People started showing up at 6:45! Holy freak people!! But we had fun all hanging out together. Jon's parents & my parents both brought some of their stuff over so we had quite the inventory!!


Somehow Pam got out of all of my pictures!! She was running around getting us treats & organizing all the items - thanks for all your help Pam!! So after things started dying down a little bit we cleaned all the stuff up that didn't sell & took it to Somebody's Attic. Then we had lunch at Great Harvest - mmm! & we all went home to take a NAP!!! Saturday night me, my mom & dad & my bro Chris & his wife Lindsey went to dinner at Iron Gate Grill - mmm! & then went over to Chris & Lindsey's to check out their new PS3 & play Guitar Hero!! I pretty much sucked at it so I just decided to jam out & pretend I was really doing good... it was fun!!



Jon ended up working til 2 am Saturday night so we slept in & then went for a nice Sunday drive up Green Canyon! Maya loved it & we set up the camera on a timer for a little family pic!!!

Hope everyone had a fun weekend also!! Isn't the warm weather AWESOME?? LOVE IT!!!
