On Saturday we took Maya to Petsmart to get groomed! They gave her a bath, cleaned her ears, clipped her nails & made her smell pretty!! I thought this little bow they put on her was so cute! So I tried my hardest to get a picture but she wouldn't look at me so this is as good as it gets...
I found these cute towels at Smith's Marketplace. KILLER DEAL ALERT!!! 6 towels for $3.99!!But I actually got them for free cuz we won a $25 gift card at the Home & Garden show!! So this was gonna be my little way of wishing everyone HAPPY SPRING but today I woke up to like 4 inches of snow... SO MUCH FOR THAT!!! I can't wait til this is all over with. I can't even explain how happy I'm gonna be when summer is here!!!!!!!

I copied Lacy...
Congratulations. You are YELLOW.
YELLOWS are motivated by FUN. They are inviting and embrace life as a party that they're hosting. They love playful interaction and can be extremely sociable. They are highly persuasive and seek instant gratification. YELLOWS need to be adored and praised. While YELLOWS are carefree, they are sensitive and highly alert to others' agendas to control them. YELLOWS typically carry within themselves the gift of a good heart.
YELLOWS need to look good socially, and friendships command a high priority in their lives. YELLOWS are happy, articulate, engaging of others and crave adventure. Easily distracted, they can never sit still for long. They embrace each day in the "present tense" and choose people who, like themselves, enjoy a curious nature. YELLOWS are charismatic, spontaneous, and positive; but can also be irresponsible, obnoxious, and forgetful. When others interact with you, as a YELLOW you respond to them best if they take a positive, upbeat approach and promote light-hearted, creative, and fun interactions with you.
Understand that no two YELLOWS are exactly alike. Although you share the same core motivation as many others, your personality is still unique to you alone.
What color are you??

ELF
So I don't know if any of you remember but a couple weeks ago I did a MONDO survey thing that had a BUNCH of questions I answered & one of the questions was "what kind of makeup do you use" or something. Part of my answer was about ELF - Eyes Lips Face. I think I put the website on there too & I also have a link for it down there on the right. So anyway today I tried to go to the website from that link & got some RACE CAR website or something!!!! So SORRY to anyone who may have tried to check out that website and wondered what the FREAK I was talking about!!! So the REAL website is EYESLIPSFACE.COM!!!!!! Check it out - I love the KILLER DEALS they have!! And sorry about the confusion!! I'm retarded...

I have the coolest job EVER!!!
So I just want to start out by letting everyone know that a couple weeks ago my awesome boss gave me a $100 gift card to Firehouse Pizza!!! I was so excited & caught off guard that I just smiled for like 15 minutes straight! Then on Friday he gave me 2 tickets to the Blaze game. THEN he let us take the Mini Cooper!! I was blown away by all this & it just really made me realize how lucky I am to have a SUPER COOL JOB!!!
Here's Jon & Maya driving... we left Maya in the car in her kennel during the game. :( poor dog! But we figured that was better than leaving her in our basement for like 15 hours!!!
The trusty copilot.
We all had to stop & pee in Centerville so I took advantage of the photo op. CUTE car huh??
Here's the opening act from the Blaze babes. It was pretty awesome!! And when the players ran on the field they went through this thing the had their logo & it blasted with fire when they went under it. COOL!!
Thoroughly enjoying the game!!
And a couple action shots...
GO BLAZE!!!
This mascot dude was hilarious. He bounced around like a doofus & would fall over & stuff but miraculously he got back up!! Oh and while he was bouncing around they played that song that goes "I get knocked down, but I get up & again" FUNNY!!
So thanks to Tim for the entertaining night out on the town!!! It was fun to just get out of the valley & do something different for a change!! FUN STUFF!

Here's our awesome Easter basket from Pam! This blanket is so cute & it will come in very handy at the beach this summer!! & of course some candy! And sweet Pam never forgets about Maya!! This book was her Easter gift! Pam also put on a killer Easter egg hunt for Maya with treats inside the eggs!! Too cute - thanks Pam for the delicious dinner & super fun times also!!
Maya celebrated Easter by escaping from the basement & making confetti out of my magazines...
We spent Sunday up at my parents house. This is the cute festive table decoration my wonderful talented mommy created. She also made us a delicious Easter dinner. Pork roast, funeral potatoes & Whitney salad to top it all off!!

MOVE THAT BOAT!!!
I wish Ty Pennington would have been there last night to yell that for us... but I just did it myself instead. Well you're all gonna think we're Hill-Billy-Pack-Rats but I'm gonna explain so don't judge these pictures too quickly. So here's the story: a couple summers ago, Jon & good old Vern decided to buy this boat. It was only 500 bucks & in decent shape (ha) & it actually ran. So they bought it & started fixing it up. They built boxes to put the seats on, put new carpet in it, and then they were going to reupholster the seats. We actually took it out for a couple test runs & ended up getting stuck in the middle of Benson Marina. But that's a whole other story so we won't get into that. So for some reason they all of the sudden lost interest in the project. So ever since then, it's been parked on the side of our lovely garage! So now we've decided that the boat parking spot is going to become Maya's home for the summer. So last night we pulled the boat out from it's spot so we can take it to the scrap yard. Which sounds easy but it actually took like almost an hour. Maybe we're retarded or maybe it was just the positioning of it but it was quite the project!
Good thing we have the baddest truck ever made & another good thing that my husband is the MAN!!!
Here's a nice shot of this beautiful rig. I would've looked really good laying out gettin' a tan on that thing...
There's the hole where it was & all of the junk that was surrounding it. All that other stuff is headed to the DUMP!!! I told you we were Hill-Billy-Pack-Rats.
Yes the sides of our garage are a different color than the front. At the same time this whole boat project was going on, Vern was just starting his siding business. So we took a bunch of scraps of hardy board & did the front of our garage. It looks really nice when you're looking straight at it but the sides are still the same old icky brown. Our plan is to just paint the sides so they're at least the same color as the front & roll with that. Also, we do realize that the fence needs to be stained back there too. We were just gonna build a gate across there so we could have a place to hide all that junk but now we've got a new plan so it will get stained I promise!!
And here is Jon, proud as punch of what we've just accomplished!! This is actually just an example of one of the posts that we'll be using to build Maya's kennel. I'll keep ya posted on the progress of Maya's future home!!!

We got a Laptop!!
Yay for us! Jon has been wanting a laptop to put all his work stuff on & just cuz they're cool I guess. And I definitely wasn't gonna fight him!! I love NEW stuff! So it's nothing special, just really basic & easy! It's a Toshiba & we got a killer deal on it at Best Buy. Thanks to the Geek Squad guy at the Home & Garden show at USU who hooked us up with Geek Squad shirts and informed us of the 6 months no interest deal!!! That's the way to do it!! (and I LOVE free shirts!!!) So here it is:I guess now we'll use our DINOSAUR of a desktop computer even less than we did before. It really wouldn't be so bad if we actually had some programs on it haha but anyway like I said, I love new stuff so this will be SUPER COOL!!!

Maya the Cuddlebug
Our silly little Maya can be quite the pill but when she goes to sleep, she wants to CUDDLE!! It's so cute, I love it. Even when she is the biggest brat ever, I forgive her as soon as she starts cuddling!! Sometimes if we're laying on the bed, she'll walk right up on my chest & lay down right there & put her face right on mine!! It's so funny! Check it out:Gotta love my little Maya Bobbins!!! :)

Overhaul on the Bathroom!!
This past weekend, me & Jon decided to do something productive INSIDE our house since it's too freakin' cold to go OUTSIDE!! There's always something that can be done to fix our house up, so at the beginning of the winter we made a list of things we wanted to get done inside the house this winter. Then for the summer we're gonna make a list for outside stuff. So we started in the bathroom. For some retarded reason there is a window & a cabinet IN our shower!! It's really convenient to have the cabinet space but not very smart!! All the paint was chipping off & the wood is probably rotten & there's moldy crap everywhere!! When Jon moved in, it was pretty gross & we've just never done anything about it. So don't think that this disgustingness is all from us!!! So we started by scraping off all the extra paint & sanding all of it down.
Here's a shot of the sickening cabinet. This is embarrassing, I can't believe I actually posted some of these pictures!!
Here's a corroded penny we found in there! If you look close, you can see where it once was on the bottom shelf in the picture above!!
This is after all the sanding is done!!
And of course, no home improvement project is complete without a trip to Jon's favorite store, Lowe's!! We made 4 trips.
Jon painting the ceiling. We never touched it up after we painted the walls yellow so it looked pretty bad!
Another effect of the whole cabinet- in-the-shower deal, the door wouldn't shut all the way. I think the moisture caused the wood to swell or something. So Jon used his sweet table saw & shaved a little off the side & bottom so it would fit again!!
Repainting the door...
And all of it repainted!! I promise I did help with this project even though the pictures don't prove it. I painted all the shelves & stuff inside the cabinet. That's why there's no in-process painting pictures!! Plus, it's a big job being the photographer!
And all put back together!! YAY!!! Next is to caulk the shower!! I can't wait! :) Thanks Jon for all of your help even though you were sick!! (good thing you were so close to the toilet the whole time huh?) I hope you all appreciate this because even though it looks like a simple little project, it took us THE WHOLE WEEKEND. We didn't realize how big of a project we were getting ourselves into!! But it was well worth it - now we have a bright white shower!!
